Mubadala Closes Deal for Israeli Gas Field Stake

Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund Mubadala has completed its purchase of a 22 stake in Israel’s Tamar gas Oeld giving it a position in the emerging East Mediterranean gas play. The signing marks the closing of the main energy deal to emerge from the historic Abraham Accords, which normalized relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates in September 2020.
