Teams of physicists at the University of Rochester and the State University of New York believe that the El Nino and La Nina climate effects may actually be just shortterm flucturations ina longer lasting 'super-Nino' episode. After studying both climate effects, the researchers believe that the data collected since 1968 show that these phenomena closely fit a 'resonant function'w tih a period of about 15 years.
