Application of Long Stroke Hydraulic Propeller in Oil Field, Jiangsu

摘要

During drilling of directional well, the backing pressure makes it impossible for the bit to apply drill pressure, which is a main issue affecting the drilling speed. Hydraulic propeller is one feasible method to reduce the hazard of backing pressure of the bit, increase the drilling speed and improve the well quality. Starting with the causes of backing pressure and working principle of hydraulic propeller, effect and existing problems of the hydraulic propeller are analyzed in this paper. Use effect of the long stroke hydraulic propeller and normal hydraulic propeller is compared in combination with construction data on site, providing reference for researchers and construction on site.
