Evaluation to Demulsifiers Used for Polymer Surfactant Flooding

This paper describes the evaluation of an effective demulsifier used to treat the emulsion produced from polymer surfactant flooding in Daqing oil field. The common demulsifiers used for ASP or SP in Daqing such as SP169, BP2420, AP221, 9901, AE8051 and so on that can't effective separated wellfluids which produced in the of polymer surfactant flooding due to novel polymer surfactant is used. A number of demulsifiers are evaluated by testing the water-oil separation characteristics in Lab. An effective demulsifier is a type of phenolic chemical additive. It is desirable that effects compared with conventional demulsifiers on polymer flooding produced liquids. So it was selected to used for break the emulsion of polymer surfactant flooding in Daqing Oil Field and then further optimization and contrast experiment was made to determine the optimal temperature, concentration, emulsion breaking time.
