Performance analysis of a collector coupled solar still

Performance analysis is presented of a basin-type solar still coupled to a tubular solar energy collector. Explicit expressions are derived for the water temperature, the yield and overall efficiency of the system as a function of time, collector's and the still's parameters. Effects of length of the collector and flow velocity have been studied on the yield and overall efficiency the solar still.
