摘要

The magnetocaloric effect in half-metallic double perovskite Sr_(0.4)Ba_(1.6-x) Sr_xFeMoO_6 (x = 0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6) was investigated. It is shown that Sr_(0.4)Ba_(1.6-x)Sr_x FeMoO_6 exhibits a magnetic entropy change of 0.078 J · kg~(-1) · K~(-1) upon 0.2 T magnetic field variation. Through these results, polycrystalline samples of Sr_(0.4)Ba_(1.6-x)Sr_x FeMoO_6 have some potential applications for magnetic refrigerants over a wide-temperature range, including room temperature.
