La double inhumation du Bronze final lib du Mas de Vignoles IV a Nimes (Gard). Note preliminaire

Located in the Vistre plain, to the south-east of Nimes (Gard), the site of Mas de Vignoles IV was the subject of a rescue excavation covering an area of 6.5 hectares. The densest occupation levels concern the Neolithic and in particular the Late Neolithic. A few structures dating to the Late Bronze 2 and 3b are however present in the north-eastern sector of the site. The most singular of these is a funerary complex of a type previously unknown in the region. It holds two successive individual burials of adults associated with an important quantity of pottery. The bodies were laid within a large approximately circular pit presenting several internal dispositions.
