A Modern Location based Services in Android

摘要

Many advantages offered by Location based Services to the mobile users to retrieve the information about their current location and exercise that data to get more useful information near to their location. Android platform is discovered recently for smart mobile phone platform launched by Google, which provides reinforce to mobile map and location based service. Traditionally, the development of mobile map and location applications is complex and difficult, Android is open source, providing an easy-to-use development kit containing flexible map display and control functions. This paper proposes implemented of Location based Services on Android based smart phones to change the profile and also to Launch other applications automatically in a predefined location through Global Positioning System (GPS) which includes the Localize Intelligence Algorithm.
