Evaluation of High Yielding Genotypes of Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor) Under Rainfed Condition in East Singhbhum, Jharkhand

摘要

To study the growth and yield components of high yielding genotype of Sorghum under rainfed condition, an amnmeni was conducted during the rainy season of 2006 at research farm of Zonal Research Station, Darisai, East Singhbhum. Genotype CSH-16 recorded highest yield and ivas significantly superior in producing higher Panicle weight, Seed yield and Stover yield than rest of other genotypes. The net return and benefit-cost ratio were also recorded higher in genotype CSH-16.
