摘要

In studies conducted in India, 40 kenaf lines were screened against foot and stem rot disease caused by P. parasitica [P. nicotianae var. parasitica] and collar rot caused by S. [Corticium] rolfsii over 3 successive years. Lines were more susceptible to Corticium than Phytophthora, and none were immune to Phytophthora or Corticium. Thirty three lines were highly resistant, 6 resistant and 1 strain was moderately resistant to Phytophthora. Fourteen strains were resistant, 19 moderately resistant and7 strains, moderately susceptible to Corticium.
