摘要

The solution of a plane problem of three-dimensional stability theory is represented for a composite material reinforced by a periodical row of short fibers placed in parallel under the longitudinal compression. The statement of the task for a composite material is executed using the three-dimensional linearized stability theory in the static statement. The composite is modelled by a piecewise homogeneous medium. The effect of the distance between fibers on the critical deformation of the material is investigated.
