摘要

Differential strain curve analysis (DSCA) is used to estimate in situ stress based on the geometric distribution of micro cracks due to stress relief that occurs during diamond drilling. By applying hydrostatic pressure to prepared specimens, crack parameters needed for the calculation of in situ stress can be obtained [1,2]. Although this method has the advantage of low cost, simplicity of experimental methods and applicability at great depth, the number of case studies on the applicability of the method are limited [3,4].
