摘要

Geostatistical analysis and simulation, taking into account the directional anisotropy of the joint wall surfaces morphology, were performed and cross validated. Then the heights and derivatives variograms, before and after kriging, were compared. On this basis, a multidimensional statistical analysis permits to sort out, among the morphological factors, the more important ones. Only the factors that depend on shear direction were kept to characterise the variations in joint shear behaviour with changing shear direction. Geostatistical analysis permits to evaluate, in each direction, the morphological factors. These factors are associated to normal stress and shear displacement to build up an experimental design. The responses, shear stress and dilatancy, are chosen to represent the shear behaviour.
