Ontology matching in collaborative recommendation system for PLM

Collaboration between different groups of PLM users requires taking into account all their preferences simultaneously, satisfying both the individuals and the groups. Collaborative recommendation systems are aimed to solve this problem. In this paper, a reference model of a collaborative recommendation system for PLM is proposed. It is based on such technologies as group profiling, context management, web services, and decision mining. Integration of different PLM network members requires semantic interoperability support. This is done via development of the multi-model method of ontology matching. Besides, utilising the developed ontology alignment patterns considerably accelerates the knowledge fusion and ontology matching processes due to typification of fusion and alignment schemes. The usage of some elements of the proposed system is illustrated on the example of an industrial company.
