December Erawan-Bongkot auctions

Thailand is planning to auction concessions for the Erawan and Bongkot gas fields offshore the country this December, according to the government. "An official announcement is expected within July and auctions in December," Thailand's Energy Minister General Anantaporn Kanjanarat told reporters. The Erawan gas concession, operated by Chevron, and the Bongkot gas concession, operated by state-backed PTT Exploration and Production, will expire in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
