The owner of a building contractor whose negligence resulted in the death of one of his workers has been sentenced to 22 months imprisonment. Slawomir Swiatek, 49, pleaded guilty at Kingston Crown Court to the gross negligence manslaughter of Grzegorz Wrezel, 41, who worked for his company.
