Exports drive aluminium foil production in the first half of 2014

The European Aluminium Foil Association,EAFA, has reported half year results whichcontinue to show a modest but steady recoveryin demand for both thin and thickergauges. This is largely led by a strong showingfrom exports, which are 28 ahead of 2013.European deliveries remains flat with demandshowing a very small decline of 0.2 comparedwith the first half of last year.
