Data Visualisation in Rehabilitation Research and Practice: a Critical Review

摘要

Results are so worrying that we can rightfully ask ourselves: Why most published charts are junk? At the same time, routine practice of rehabilitation-outcome monitoring is as much in urgent need of visualisation expertise as the entire field of business intelligence. Hence, changes in education and professional development are needed to eliminate graphical illiteracy. They must be supported by senior academics and healthcare managers, and implemented by statistically trained visualisation experts.
