IJRMHM special issue 2010, 'Selected Papers of the 17th International Plansee Seminar on Tungsten and Molybdenum'

In the last year, the community of materials scientists in the field of refractory metals and cemented carbides gathered at the traditional 17th Plansee Seminar, entitled "High Performance P/M Materials". It was perfectly organized by the colleagues of, and hosted by the Plansee AG and held, as always, in Reutte/Austria, from May 25 to 29, 2009. A total of 237 contributions, covering the whole spectrum of processing, properties and modelling as well as applications of refractory metals and cemented carbides were presented to a large international audience of more than 430 participants from 35 countries.
