摘要

A quadripolymer scale inhibitor, IA-SSS-MA-MAA, was prepared by a free radical solution polymerization with itaconic acid (IA), styrene sulfonic sodium (SSS), maleic anhydride (MA), and a-methyl acrylic acid (MAA) as monomers and ammonium persulfate as initiator. The chemical structure of the quadripolymer was investigated by infrared and UV spectrometry. The influence of quadripolymer concentration, Ca~(2+) concentration, temperature time, and pH value of the system on the inhibition efficiency was investigated by the static scale inhibition method. The experimental results showed that the polymer was an excellent calcium carbonate scale inhibitor, with a resistance rate of calcium carbonate scale up to 93.18%, and could be used in a system of high temperature and high hardness water.
