The effect of pristine fullerene aqueous colloid solution (C_(60)FAS) (1 mg/kg) on ischemic damage to the rat muscle soleus was studied. The therapeutic effect of C_(60)FAS was analyzed under its intravenous and intramuscular injection. An evident C_(60)FAS protective effect on the dynamics of ischemic damage to the muscle contraction has been revealed. In particular, it was found that in most cases the protective effect of C_(60)FAS with intramuscular administration was by 15 - 17% more effective than intravenous administration of that agent. This fact indicates that C_(60)FAS can be considered a promising therapeutic agent to prevent and correct ischemic damage of the skeletal muscle contractile activity.
