摘要

First published in 2001, this revised, updated and expanded edition is aimed at the general population with ways to adapt to chronic pain. The authors recognise that chronic pain can be managed better when the individual takes an active role in their own management. The book starts with a pain self management checklist which the individual is invited to repeat at the end of the book.The author's clinical experience forms the basis of the material so consequently there is limited referenced evidence but this is offset by the practical and relevant information that is written.
