摘要

Reflective practice is one of those embedded phrases that is synonymous with nursing and nurse education. As the authors state "reflection enables us to make sense of, and learn from, experiences that can sometimes seem uncertain, chaotic or even mundane". It is recognised as being a core skill in nursing and one that "nurses need to acquire in order to learn from practice and develop professionally". Although this book suggests its main audience would be the degree programme student nurse it is an useful tool for the trained nurse, if not only for reference to the development and understanding of reflective practice.
