Gravimetric control saves euro'000s in masterbatch dosing

S AVINGS in excess of ￡20,000 a year in masterbatch consumption were achieved by Guala Closures when it replaced volumetric dosing equipment with two gravimetric units dosing straight to the feed throat of the injection moulding machines. Guala installed a ColorSave unit from Jenco Controls & Export on a machine making an inner liner sleeve, and on another moulding a closure.
