Blow moulding machinery manufacturer, Kautex Maschinenbau, has supplied Japanese chemical company, Toray Industries, with a new extrusion blow moulding machine for research and development. The KBS20 has been supplied to Toray's plant in Nagoya where it will be used to test the production of different 3D pipes using the so-called 'suction blow' process. The focus will be on the development of extremely heat-resistant air ducts made from polyphenylene sulphide (PPS).
