摘要

A quarry operator's legal bid to recover ?200,000 in damages from its health and safety consultant - the sum it was fined following a worker's fatal accident - should be allowed to proceed to a full trial, a judge ruled in March. Lord Tyre's written judgment was delivered on 14 March, after lawyers acting for quarry operator D Geddes (Contractors) and its former consultant Neil Johnson Health and Safety Services had submitted their initial pleadings.
