摘要

Division by zero is the source of all infinites in mathematics and could be likened to a mathematical big bang. It is therefore clear that starting from any two very small successive dimensions φ{sup}n and φ{sup}(n-1) where φ = (5{sup}(1/2)-1)/2, one could generate all fundamental dimensionless quantities of physics and in particular the inverse electromagnetic fine structure constant α{sub}o{sup}- ≈ 137. This is simply achieved by applying the simple local role of the Fibonacci progression as described in a recent paper (M.S. El Naschie, Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, 31, 2007,537-547).
