摘要

The ablation is a nonlinear process coupled with convection, heat transfer, mass transfer and chemical reaction. This paper suggests a combined numerical model to solve the flow of gaseous mixtures past a blunt ablator under high temperature and high pressure. In this model, the vortex method is adopted to simulate the flow field and pressure distribution on the blunt surface; the three-equation model, which takes into account both diffusion and thermochemical mechanisms, is used to estimate the mass loss. Furthermore, a simplified model is put forward for simulating the denudation loss, and a particle trajectory model is applied for solving particles motion. The established model provides necessary data for relative chaos identification.
