Albizialebbeck istraditionally important medicinal plant. Cancer is a public health problem all over the world. Medicinal herbs have been on the forefront whenever we talk about anticancer remedies, Herbal medicines have a vital role in the prevention and treatment of cancer. Large numbers of plants and their isolated constituents have been shown to potential anticancer activity. Hydro alcoholic extract of Albizialebbeck showed in vitro cytotoxicity against human cancer cell lines such as MCF-7 (Human Breast cancer) and PC - 3 (Human prostate cancer cell line). The in vitro cytotoxicity was performed against. The activity was done using 100μg/ml of the extract. The cytotoxicity of the Albizzialebbeck extracts against the cancer cells showed that the hydroalcoholic leaf extractof MCF - 7 (Human breast cancer cell line) exhibited high cytotoxic activity. The cytotoxic activity was also found to be dose dependent, higher the concentration higher the activity
