The objective of living is the enjoyment of beauty and promoting life in all its wonderful manifestations. This short note takes the reader on a very short but intensive trip from King Ludwig's magical Room of Mirrors via Cocteau's tunnelling to the magnificent topological models of Thurston, with the help of which we are trying to understand our universe. In this connection we briefly discuss the recent important work of Luminet and lovane which were triggered by the new WMAP cosmological data.
