Further to an earlier report on its construction progress (SB, April 1988 issue) the third in a series of multi-purpose icebreakers, the 2,850dt Botnica, has now been delivered by Finland's Aker Finnyards, Rauma to the Finnish Maritime Administration (FMA), the build period being a record time of 13 months.
