Method for the evaluation of the materials machinability by electrical discharge machining

摘要

One of the ways to evaluate the material's machinability by electrical discharge machining is based on the quantity of material removed from the test piece through a single electrical discharge. Relatively simple equipment able to allow the evaluation of machinability on the basis of the above-mentioned principle has been built and used for experiments.
