摘要

Generalized Kanban Controlled Unsaturated Multi-Stage Production System with randomness in external demand and processing times is considered. Continuous-time Markov chain model is developed for evaluating the performance of the system with respect to measures viz, fill rate, average inventory and throughput. Then the model is validated with discrete event stochastic model at 95% confidence level.
