摘要

We thank Dr. Celik et al. [1] for their interest in our study on the relation between serum levels of C-reactive protein (CRP) and coronary no-reflow after primary PCI [2]. In their letter, the authors report that in a previous study, at variance with our data, they noticed a significant relation between CRP levels (and, therefore, inflammation) and no-reflow in this kind of patients [3]. Accordingly, the authors observe that the role of CRP levels on the prediction of poor myocardial perfusion grades after primary PCI has not been clearly elucidated and deserves further investigation.
