Prurigo pigmentosa in a pregnant woman.

A 23-year-oLd pregnant Moroccan woman presented with an intensely itchy rash of 4 weeks' duration. She was primipara at the 13th week of pregnancy. Skin examination revealed a symmetrical eruption on the chest and upper back, especially on the interscapular region, consisting of erythematosus papules that coalesced to form a reticular pattern on a background of reticular brown pigmentation (Fig. 1).
