Fisher Information, Thermodynamics AND SCHR?DINGER EQUATION

Much current research in the physics of information revolves around applications of Fisher's information measure (FIM). We review here the intimate relationship that links this tool of information theory to two apparently unconnected subjects, namely, the formalism of thermodynamics and the properties of Schrodinger's equation. This link exhibits the power of information-optimizing principles and enlarges the scope of the physical ideas that emerge out of information theory.
