World-class outcomes for cancer care

The Independent Cancer Taskforce has developed a strategy for England aimed at achieving world-class outcomes in cancer care. In some cases this involves developing a service and in others enhancing the current services, encompassing the patient pathway from prevention and early diagnosis through to improvements in living with and beyond cancer and, importantly, end-of-life care. It will ensure that all care provided remains focused on the patient and their needs.
