摘要

A new experimental procedure is proposed whichallows the determination of parameters of mass-spring modelsused to analyse the CHARPY impact test. It is based on themeasurement of the tup load and the specimen deflection duringthe impact test. The contact stiffness between the tup and thespecimen is derived from the ratio of the specimen deflectionover the tup displacement. The model predictions are comparedwith experimental results obtained form impact test performed on PMMA specimens.
