摘要

The flow of dusty viscoelastic fluid (Maxwell model) between two parallel plates with impermeable upper plate oscillating harmonically and stationary porous lower plate is investigated. We observe that the amplitude of oscillations are lesser than that corresponding to clean fluid layer in interval [0, t] and is greater in the interval [t, π/2] due to the presence of elasticity. These results are expected to be useful in lubrication engineering for designing porous bearings with lubricants containing polymer additives.
