摘要

Laboratory experiment was carried out to study the toxicity of newer insecticide molecules against Helicoverpa armigera (Hubnur) at the Department of Agricultural Entomology, U.A.S., Dharwad. Among the various insecticides tested, cyantraniliprole 10 OD was found to be most toxic with LC 50 value of 0.190 ppm followed by flubendiamide 480 SC (0.450 ppm), emamectin benzoate 5 SG (1.040 ppm), chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC (2.470 ppm), lufenuron 5.4 EC (8.990 ppm), indoxacarb 15.8 EC (10.550 ppm), novaluron 10 EC (14.350 ppm), chlorfenapyr 10 SC (27.950 ppm) and spinosad 45 SC (48.410 ppm). The least toxicity was recorded with thiodicarb 75 WP (377.790 ppm).
