摘要

With a view to evaluate the bio-efficacy of newer insecticides against Spodoptera litura (Fabricius) in soybean, i field experiment was conducted at the Main Agricultural Research Station, UAS, Dharwad during kharif2014-15. Among the new molecules flubendiamide 480 SC @ 0.2 ml/1 was found significantly superior in reducing the larval population and recorded highest grain yield of2382.00 kg/ha followed by indoxacarb 15.8 EC @ 0.3 ml/1 (2217.33 kg/ha) and cyantranil iprole 10 0D @ 0.2 ml/1 (2053.33 kg/ha). The highest BC ratio was recorded by flubendiamide 480 SC @ 0.2 ml/1 (2.35) followed by indoxacarb 15.8 EC @ 0.3 ml/1 (2.20), cyantraniliprole 10 OD @ 0.2 ml/1 (1.97), emamectin benzoate 5 SG @ 0.25 g/1 (1.95), spinosad 45 SC @ 0.2 ml/1 (1.90), chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC @ 0.2 ml/1 (1.89) and chlorpyriphos 20 EC @ 2 ml/1 (1.81).
