摘要

Adolescence is characterised by the formation of new eating habits. Food and nutrient intake were assessed in students in Rome, Italy. Intakes of fruits, vegetables and legumes were lower than recommended. Energy intakes from fat, saturated fat and sugar were high and energy intake from carbohydrates was low. Fibre and calcium intakes were low in both males and females and iron intakes were low in the majority of females.
