摘要

In order to solve the problem of low-order harmonic current of delta-connected cascade multilevel static synchronous compensator, a novel low-order harmonic suppression method is proposed based on individual phase instantaneous current control. Due to the independence of three links of delta-connected cascade multilevel STATCOM, it is suitable for individual phase instantaneous current control; the low-order harmonic current can be effectively suppressed through the proposed hybrid control. A comparison of simulations is given between the proposed control method and a commonly used method, from which the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method has been proved. A prototype of a three-phase 36-chain STATCOM has been developed to verify the theory analysis.
