摘要

In this article, a promising cross-layer scenario is proposed, in which this architecture via reconfigurable antenna will enable the wireless channel capacity to increase by two times more than the conventional WiMAX system at the same frequency. The advanced WiMAX system by smart base stations with the innovative and flexible equipment merging the highly efficient polarization diversity is particularly attractive to guarantee resource management. This realistic scheme is mainly based on the cross-layer operation between the MAC layer and PHY layer, which the efficient bandwidth allocation system offers an efficient handover process on the developing mobile broadband system. The emerging framework with a properly adaptive frequency planning is suitable for traffic flows to convey and meets a high quality service.
