The Fort Worth, Texas-based energy firm is working with the Univ. of Texas at Arlington (UTA) to commercialize a new, low-cost technology for turning natural gas into syndietic diesel and jet fuel. UTA researchers have designed portable conversion units for the process that will be used at domestic and international gas fields. The technology is expected to be especially advantageous for producers of "stranded" NG reserves without access to pipelines.
