General Cable to sell Pyrotenax business

General Cable Corporation is to sell its shares in the Pyrotenax business unit to Raychem HTS.Closure of the transaction is still subject to a definitive purchase agreement and regulatory approval in Canada but, as Wire Industry went to press, was expected to occur before the end of March.
