These are some considerations on the pathogenesis of the gastroduodenal ulcer. After a general premise to the ulcerous disease about its pathogenesis, the author considers with particular attention the more strictly emotive factours, which, time by time, intervenes in the development of the gastroduodenal ulcer.He concludes by doing some considerations about the role the physician can assume in his treatment of the patient suffering from ulcer, from the point of view of psychotherapy.
