The problem of reflection and transmission of an electromagnetic wave by a dielectric medium moving uniformly in an arbitrary direction is analyzed in detail. The expressions for wave four vectors, the modified law of reflection and Snellrsquo;s law, the reflected and transmitted wave field vectors, and the reflection and transmission coefficients are presented as the general solution for the problem. These expressions cover all the cases of arbitrary velocities of the moving medium and reduce to the results given previously by other authors for the particular cases ofv=vx,v=vy,v=vz, andv=vxxcirc;+vyycirc;.
