We propose the method of solving the problem of the reference signal for a MMSE (Minimum Mean Square Error) adaptive array antenna. The proposed method is that the EVDCM (EigenVector of Desired Correlation Matrix) is used as the correlation vector. The desired correlation matrix is calculated before and after a communication start. First, when a tap length is short, it is shown that a timing shift cannot be compensated in a TDL-AAA (Tapped Delayed Line Adaptive Array Antenna). Next, while a high power interference user exists, we show that sliding correlation is difficult by computer simulation. Finally, we analyzed about the problem by the computer simulation, when we use the EVDCM method.
