Indoor MIMO channel measurement system was developed for capacity analysis, propagation analysis (correlation eigen analyses), and performance analysis (symbol error rate throughput analyses). The measurement system consists of maximally 8-channel transmitter, maximally 8-channel receiver, and x-y positioner that covers the maximally 1.5m× 1.5m measurement range. The details of the system and initial measurement results are shown in this paper.
